Okay, so as you could probably tell, I am a Niner! I am all about DS9!
But, I am kind of interested in the ships of the series. I mean, there was Enterprise A-D (plus the one on "Enterprise"), the Titan, The Defiant, Voyager, Excelsior, etc. (Just to name a few).....so..
What is your favorite ship and why?
I'll start the ball rolling...
My favorite ship is the USS Defiant, which was later the USS San Paulo, but they called it the Defiant also...but it was a war-class ship, it was sleek, tight-quarters, it moved fast, and the Jem Hadar had better watch their butts when this ship was in the neighborhood. So, my question...what is your favorite ship from all the series and why? Oh, and upload photos, please!!!

Yeah, kind of cooky, BUT what Sci-Fi ship could hold the water AND two humpback whales other than the Enterprise? I mean, come on...that is an awesome feat!

And to add more things. If you read the TNG Tech manual for the 1701-D. The main subspace systems had onboard Dolphins and whales to help with navigations. I'll have to find the page again. I knew I shouldn't have put my tech manuals in storage.

Ok, I found the page. In the TNG Tech Manual. Pg 44 - External sensors. Read to the very last paragraph and it explains that the guidance & navigation systems are manned by a mix of 12 Atlantic and Pacific dolphins, overseen by 2 Takaya's whales.

I might point out, in the movie (The Voyage Home) - it was a Klingon ship that Kirk stole and went back in time to grab the whales, Not the Enterprise - although the Enterprise has done a few sling shots around the sun in it's time.

my favorite ship personaly is prometheus because it is a long range tactical ship some features of her mulit vector assult mode, cloaking deviece, trans phasic torpedeos, 150 calssifed torpedeos, pulse cannons, phasers, warp9.999 (max) 9.99 cruising speed, shipwide holo emiters, emh mark 4

My Favorite ship is the U.S.S. Prometheus NX-59650 from Voy episode 181 "Message in a Bottle". With Ablative Hull Armor, Holoemitters throughout the ship and the coolest thing of all the Multi-Vector Assault Mode, it has to be the coolest ship i have ever seen.

I think the Klingon Warbird is my favorite. I also prefer the original Enterprise.

Hello,
I found this ship design a few years ago, it was done by an artist James Wappel. Since, I lost the original picture, a friend of mine redid it in CAD and it came out great, like the Original.
The Original ship design was the Cetus Class and the second in line was called the Compass Rose. The ship was a Mobile Starship Facility, a flying spacedock, and by my calculations it was big. Anyone interested in the numbers, I'll post them.
My version was called the Agincourt.
