The social network for Star Trek Fans!

Okay, so as you could probably tell, I am a Niner! I am all about DS9!

But, I am kind of interested in the ships of the series. I mean, there was Enterprise A-D (plus the one on "Enterprise"), the Titan, The Defiant, Voyager, Excelsior, etc. (Just to name a few).....so..

What is your favorite ship and why?

I'll start the ball rolling...

My favorite ship is the USS Defiant, which was later the USS San Paulo, but they called it the Defiant also...but it was a war-class ship, it was sleek, tight-quarters, it moved fast, and the Jem Hadar had better watch their butts when this ship was in the neighborhood. So, my question...what is your favorite ship from all the series and why? Oh, and upload photos, please!!!

My favorite ship has to be the Enterprise J from Enterprise. It is the most powerful ship ever created for Star Trek.

For some reason, I just can't stand the non symmetrical design. If they knocked off the block that is on their port side, then it would look great.

I never did get into the details of the various ships too much. But the ECS Horizon from "Enterprise" caught my imagination. I guess living in this over-crowded world, I'm enamoured with the idea of roughing it on some frontier. A bare-bones ship with a tight crew performing a necessary service. And every day something new! I could go for that!

Yeah, I think there needs to be more exploration of the lives of non-military folks in the world of Star Trek.

My Favorite ship is the USS Prometheus. For it's ability with the multi vector assault mode. I am aware that the Galaxy Class has this feature as well, but it's to big and cumbersome. The Prometheus is larger than a Intrepid Class, yet Smaller Than a Galaxy, Extremely fast, has the most up to date shields, and weapons. Hands down the most powerful Federation Starship ever built.

Absolutely...I bow to your superior taste in ships! :)

Mine would probably have to be the TOS Enterprise basicly for design and feats accomplished. From a certain angle, she looks like a torpedo-from my point of view, and not many 23rd or 24th century ships can employ time travel.

I'm not a big fan of TOS, but I think I saw one of the movies where they were using whales to save earth (lol ya I saw it once way back), and they sling shot around the sun to travel through time! Haha good stuff.

Joining a new sim is difficult when you know little to noting about it. For instance, what would my place be in it. I am a rarity in the Klingon world, a warrior or note, and I have a undeniable thirst for the fight. I also have command of a negh/va…

Seriously? I love the dodgy tech. It's usually so much fun.

Well I guess if he wanted to, Q could dump anyone pretty much anywhere -- warp issues or no. And goodness only knows where the Prophets stuck those Dominion ships at the end of "Sacrifice of Angels". But apart from that, there was that point where t…

Well okay here's another one to boggle your mind: What about that "Proto Universe" that Dax (and her drunken pilot) had to take back through the wormhole at the end of a second season DS9 episode -- Playing God -- and just kind of dumped back in th…

It's also very pretty. (Sorry couldn't resist.) Yeah that's a good book for looking up positions of everything, and especially surprising to see the scales of several places.
