Star Trek Costumes
I've been trying to find a decent TNG/DS9 Klingon male costume, but have only been able to find cheap copies. Anyone know of a website where I can find decent costumes for Star Trek? I used to go to The Experience website, but that place is no longer there, so I need a new one. I would really like it in time for Halloween this year.
Thanks for any suggestions.

yeah, I tried them, found plenty of Star Trek Federation Uniforms, but nothing Klingon.

Do you have any friends or family who know how to sew?
Its too late for this year, but if you want an authentic costume, if you know (or can find) someone who knows how to sew really well, Im sure they can custom make an outfit for you.
If you have the money, you can always send design specs to a custom costume maker. Although that gets pretty expensive.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who is willing to do the sewing. And I don't really have a lot of money. But I do want a costume that looks realistic and not like some cheap plastic, so far, the cheap plastic variety is all I can find...

Have you looked on auction sites like ebay, to see if there are any authentic ST costumes on there? Sometimes I find some wicked awesome costumes on there that are hand made, and not from cheap material either.

I found one, but it looks like a female costume.
And then I found one worn by an extra in TNG, but they want $5,000 for it....and that is way out of my budget.

Only other thing I can think of is take a few courses in costume design/sewing and make your own.
My granny taught me to sew.....I can make any kind of costume I want.
Also, you might do some searching on Youtube for how to make your own Klingon costume at home.
