WARNING TO STAR TREK CONVENTION GOERS: Police in many Southern and Midwestern small cities and towns are engaging in saturation patrols with Police Anti-Drug Canine Units along major highways going into cities where Star Trek Conventions are occuring. This enforcement effort includes searches of cars which probably violates the 4th Amendment! I have been hearing about this problem from emails within the Star Trek Fan Inner Circle, but no links that I could post with the report until today! http://http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/31/drug-search-trekies...

Capt. Eric L. Watts and the USS Republic NCC-1371 are proud to present TrekTrax Atlanta, April 20-22, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Atlanta Perimeter.

Three concurrent tracks of programming—OmniTrek, Qo'Nos and The
Ready Room
—will be dedicated to the Star Trek universe in general,
the Klingon Empire in particular, and costuming & makeup together. The
Holodeck
will be devoted to role-playing games, board games and card games.
A 24-hour video room will feature episodes of several well-known Internet-based
Star Trek series, a variety of Star Trek-related TV specials,
programs featuring Star Trek celebrities and of course, the ever-popular
blooper reels!

Celebrity guests include Todd Bryant (engineering cadet in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Captain Klaa in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, the Klingon translator in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and stunt double for Ron Perlman in Star Trek Nemesis), Spice Williams-Crosby  (the Klingon Vixis in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, a Klaestron kidnapper in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Dax," stunt-doubled for guest actress Megan Gallagher in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Invasive Procedures" and stunt-double for for Star Trek: Voyager leading actress Jeri Ryan) and David Orange ("Sleepy Klingon" in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country).
