Why not a new STTAS with animation similar to what we are seeing on such direct to DVD releases as Batman:UNder the Red Hood, Justice Leagus Doom, and in the series Young Justice?

I'm happy the animated series has a home here. I saw no problem with it. Nice animation... and the contributors were the real Star Trek talent.

Yes, you're right! I was thinking the same thing. The conversation *is* almost identical! I was sitting up straight in my seat when I heard Sarek start speaking to Spock.

And I love the lines that get the fists flying in Yesteryear. "You're a Terran, Spock! You could never be a Vulcan" "Your father brought shame to Vulcan. He married a Human!"

You can just tell that he wanted to do the same to the Vulcan Science Academy official who disparaged his ancestry, as well. One for Spock & DC!

Did anyone else get a chuckle watching STXI and seeing young Spock get harassed about his heritage by his fellow classmates. I loved that scene in the movie because it was taken from one of my favorite animated episodes, "Yesteryear".
