Greeting all, I started watching TOS on a black and white TV. I had a cardboard box that my dad helped fashion into a shuttlecraft, so I could travel along with the Enterprise.

Hello, I am a first generation Trekker. I still remember writing letters and going door-to-door with petitions to save TOS. I am honored to be here. Live long and prosper! \V/

While there is almost certainly a NX-13 ASHERAH on the dark side (mirror universe) lol, the NX-13 is inspired by the USS STARGAZER and the USS HATHAWAY. The NX-13A is a 100% balanced starship design. The NX-13A used her cargo hold doors for cargo as well as shuttle craft launches. Take two upper hulls of the NX class of starship, flip one side up side down, and start welding.

The name ASHERAH is inspired by the HERA, the Star Fleet science vessel that Lt. CMDR LaForge mother lost her live on. I designed of the NX-13 ASHERAH as a small science vessel, modeled using LEGO (R) blocks. The NX-13 and the NX-13A served during the Earth Romulan War.

The name ASHERAH has been translated as Goddess of the Sea. The Goddess Asherah was worshipped by the Phoenicians, the great sea going city state of the past.

On a personal note, as a transwoman, I have a collection of Goddess statues to remind me of the historical acceptance of transsexual women via ritual castration by worshipers of the Goddess in the past. The only know Middle East example of a culture where there is not a Goddess connection to transwomen is Egypt. The Queen of Egypt had a body guard of self castrated transwomen and many of her personal servants were self castrated transwomen.

A science vessel that the Admerality did not want grew up to become part of the body guard (Star Fleet) of Earth and the Sol Alliance.

As for my twin type Yaris shuttle craft. The shuttle craft even have matching custom ID plates (NX13SC1 and NX13SC2). I bought the second Yaris as a way to deal with the loss of my brother to cancer. He left a Ranger type cargo pod that I disliked flying. Too large for the NX-13 needs. Too hard to park in the NX-13 shuttle craft bays. Consummed too much fuel.

Hi Ellen ! Enterpriser , eh ?! I'm interested in the Nx-13 , is that a mirror universe model ? And your 'Yaris' is a great runabout ?! Tell us more ?!!

Yes my gray is showing too (asthma prevents me from dying my hair). I was a teenager when TOS was first shown. Only after I retired on disability because of my allergy to perfumed products, and my Mom pressured me into getting a PC, did I become a fan of fan productions and desided to post the history of NX-13, a Star Fleet vessel of my own design.

LOL! That would have been funny in a movie or TNG episode - a brief encounter with Ston to see how things worked out.

Not decietfull - just logical! There were many who felt Spock a "traitor" and "tainted" by his human heritage.
