According to IMDB, Jeffery Quinn is a production assistant on Galactica. I'd think he'd still have time for an occaisional acting gig on P2. And Julienne Irons (who is just the hottest Uhura there ever was) only did one movie gig, which was last year. I'd think she's have time to still play Uhura on the side. Though, I hope she goes into modeling.

If TOS had done a 4th or 5th season, I seriously doubt that they'd change the design of the ship. And since it was 15 years from TOS to the movies, I'd think they'd have more than enough time after the 5 year mission to rebuild the Enterprise.

And I'll ask this again. Any chance the updated version of "To Serve All My Days" will be available for download?

Also, will the web site ever put the DVD labels and case sleeves back up for download?

Also, I've heard several Deforest Kelly interviews where he said that if there was going to be a 4th season of TOS that they were going to do an episode involving Dr. McCoy's daughter. Has Cawley or the P2 writers ever considered that possibility for a potential episode?

Again, on the P2 site there is a photo of Stacy and Quinto together captioned "and his twin"... referring to them being body doubles, not actual brothers. Sorry for the confusion.

The actors that left did so to pursue other acting gigs. They no longer had the time to play Star Trek with us.

It was changed to Phase II to show the transition that has to happen to get from TOS to TMP. That includes the ship. An overhall the scope of which we see in the movie could not have been done in a couple months in dock. Due to the mass of damage the ship takes in BAF it only makes sense that when they were replacing the nacelles they would use the newest ones available.

James does cut his hair short to play Kirk. It's much longer for his paying job. Sorry, his hair is just too thick to ever be as short or thin as Shatner's toupee from the 60's.

Okay. But I swore I read about them actually being brothers on the ST:P2 website. But either way, I think he looks more like Spock than any of the other previous actors. I liked Jeff Quinn, but he just didn't have the right facial structure to be Vulcan. Also, why did Quinn leave? I've never heard any explanation for that.

I agree. It's just that at first glance, people might be a bit confused. "Er. Isn't Sulu supposed to be Asian?" How come the previous actor stopped playing Sulu. I know he's an attourney, but why'd he suddenly stop?

And while I'm actually taking to someone on the ST: production crew, I have a few other questions I've always wondered about.

Why did they change the name from NW to P2? Phase 2 is the title of the Trek series that would never be about the ST:TMP crew on the newly fitted Enterprise. NV is supposed to be the 4th and 5th season of TOS. TOS and P2 were supposed to be set 15 years apart fro each other.

Why are they changing the design of the Enterprise to reflect the ST:TMP refit? That refit wasn't suppose to happen until the 5 year mission was up. Why are they changing it in the middle of the 5 year mission? The reason I liked NV is because it's loyalty to the TOS vision. And now they are changing it to reflect the film refit, which kinda blows all canon to hell.

Could James Cawley get a hair cut when he plays Kirk? He has this huge wave that just doesn't reflect Kirk AT ALL.

I love Charles Root. He is a perfect Scotty. He has the look down pat. But he really needs to work on that accent. It can be quite painful to listen to.

Will "To Serve All My Days - A night In the 60's" ever be available for download?

I really don't want to pick on NV too much because I know no one is getting paid to do it, but I think there are a few little things that do need pointing out.

Brandon is not Quinto's brother... that myth came about because pictures of the two of them together were captioned "and his twin".. which meant his double on the film, not that Brandon was actually related to Quinto.

Yes, we have spoken to Grace about the wig. (Remember, she's been on our show!) It's just not possible to recreate for high-defination tropical filming.

All Hartman: I heard the new Spock will be played by Zackery Quinto's brother.

Patti Wright: Thanks for the explanation as to the basket weave. But has anyone tried contacting Grace Lee Whitney and asked her how they the the weave to stay on TOS? I know a friend if hers and might be able to get that information.

Also, any info why the new Sulu looks Latino? I mean, Sulu is an Asian guy.

Sorry, folks, we did the "basketweave" for Rand and it was impossible to maintain throughout the shoot. So I'm afraid it will remain on the wighead in the makeup room, not on-screen.

We met Brandon Stacy on the set of Trek XI and he was amazing... look forward to seeing him folks!

I liked BaF pt 1 with only minor quibbles. The actor who played Spock (Ben Tolpin) is a good guy and I got a chance to talk to him during the shoot of Enemy Starfleet. He directed it, and directed it like a pro director.

He won't be playing Spock any longer, they were lucky to get as a replacement one of the actors from Star Trek Hidden Frontier who also was the stand in for Spock in the new movie.

Meghan is wonderful, and very nice in person. She is also a singer and performs often.

Did anyone see the premeire of "Blood & Fire" yesterday? I figured this whole group would be buzzing about it, but no peeps so far. The episode is pretty good. Here are a few comments on it.

* The episode is dedicated to Majel Barrett-Roddenberry. Kudos to the editing staff who put that in only 2 days after she died.

* I'm not too crazy about the new Spock. He's too nasal. But he's not horrible.

* The acting is still pretty wooden.

* The story is pretty good, but suffers from the generic monster-on-the-ship scenario we've seen in too many sci-if movies Star Trek episodes.

* The actress who plays Yeoman Rand still has no hair weave that Grace Lee Whitney made famous. But she's still kinda hot.

* Before the end credits, there's a preview of part 2 of "Blood & Fire". The preview starts with Majel Roddenberry saying "Next time on Star Trek: Phase II". Nice that they managed to get Majel saying those words before she died. Now that Phase II audio template is set for life.

* The episode is also downloadable to your computer. Which was not the case for the last episode "World Enough And Time", which was only available through streaming.

This is the same rifle being used in Star Trek Phase II, but with a DStines BN Phaser I replica substituted for the Cellphone in these pictures. I plan to do that, and maybe make a few subtle changes and upgrades.
