It's still so hard to believe that even with an election virtually handed to them on a silver platter the RINOS running the GOP found a way and a candidate to blow it to a dimwit with no record to run on. The Democrats had to resort to tactics that made the NAZI Party infamous, from start to finish a campaign of lies, hate, fear and despair. Thus the NAZI Party is alive and well in America, reborn as the Democratic Party. So that bare majority that voted for Obama you got the President you wanted and you got the President you deserve.

As for the GOP the RINOS (Republican in name only) have to go. And after we're done with the Democrats they know they're next.

Aye... though i dont like tha fact that many republicans do the same things.... i think they all need thrown out.... and straight citizens brought in... people that actually give a damnn about their nation and not lining their checkbooks..

The Democrats always overpromise. Does anyone remember the Democrats TV ads in 1992 when they called themselves the "NEW" Democratic Party. Of course when Clinton won they went right back to being the "old" Democratic Party, raising taxes, overspending and driving up unemployment, interest rates and inflation back up close to double-digits like in the 1970s. All of which led to them losing 55 seats in the House, 9 in the Senate, giving the GOP control of the Congress for the fisrt time in 40 years. Obviously some people never learn.

Did you watch all or part of the GOP convention? And Clint Eastwood nailed it when he said that if someone is not doing the job you've got to let them go! This is Romney's election to lose. And, yes, it is looking more and more like a across the board blowout for Romney and the GOP, capturing the White House, retaking the Senate while increasing the GOP majority in the House. BTW There's still a chance for a filibuster-proof, 60-seat majority in the Senate, but we'll probably have to run the table to get there. But I like our chances. This is no ordinary election. This is the most important election since 1980 and 1932, both were watershed, re-alignment elections that set the country's direction for decades. 2012 is also a watershed election that will not only re-align but redefine this country's purpose and its confidence in its institutions. No matter who you supported in the primaries this is no time to stand on the sidelines watching others do all the heavy lifting. This not a case of choosing your poison. Our future is on the line. And the choice is easy. Romney in November. Lets make it so.

Am I the only one sensing that Romney not only is going to win, but win in a blowout? Scott Walker's victory in Wisconsin is only a precursor to the November election which could see the Democrats get massacred with not only Romney winning the White House, but the GOP winning as many as 60 seats in the Senate for a filibuster-proof majority, as well as increasing its majority in the House. How ironic will it be to go from a minority to a super-majority in Congress in only two election cycles. And if you're thinking of the lame-duck Obama and the Senate Democrats trying to create havoc on their way out, don't bother. None of it will get through the House. And any Executive Orders Obama signs will expire when he leaves office on January 20, 2013. In any case the clock is counting down and in a matter of months we will get our country back. We still have a lot of work to do so lets get going.

Like most conservatives I am not happy with Romney as the GOP nominee. And I see little glee in him picking a conservative as a running mate. But if he expects our vote it will be on our terms. This election is too important to remain on the sidelines and let others do all the heavy lifting so I will remain involved and do my part to remove Obama from the White House. However, I will be concentrating most of my efforts to see that the GOP retakes control of the U.S. Senate and increases its majority in the House. And a 60 seat, filibuster-proof GOP majority in the Senate is within our grasp if we work hard enough for it. Santorum is a conservative Christian with strong moral values, he's not a "religious nut". Yet four years ago no one seemed to have a problem putting an ultra-liberal socialist-islamic kook in the oval office. Fortunately two years ago the American electorate awoke in the nick of time to realize their huge mistake and took appropriate action to block the Socialist agenda being inflicted upon them by voting out Pelosi and Reid's socialist hooligans and gave the GOP the mission of undoing the damage done to the country. We still have a lot of unfinished business, however. Clearing out the White House and the U.S. Senate will go a long way in getting this country back on course, but it is mission:possible. So lets do it.

I must admit to feeling a bit down now that Ron Paul has called it a day. I know that a lot of people here probably didn't think much of him, but I just thought he shares my libertarian philosophy but as a Republican, he stood a better chance of winning than a libertarian party candidate. Even though Romney would not be my first choice, I think that I will just have to hold my nose and vote for him anyway. He is certainly a better choice than Santorum. To have to go from a socialist to a religious nut would be like choosing between the lesser of two evils, except that they would both be lousy alternative.
