Greetings Captain Stark

I am Robert MacBrock
As a fellow starship Captain, it would behoove me to join you're group.
My ship is the U.S.S. Avenger N.C.C. 1860, an Avenger Class Heavy Frigate [ some people call it the Miranda Class but long before TNG the Avenger Class blueprints were put on the market right after STWOK] I've had the Duty and Honor of commanding her for collectively 20 years now, as all Captains believe she is one of-if not the best-starships afloat amongst the to date.

Thank You Sir for you're time.

Captain Robert MacBrock,
Commanding: U.S.S. Avenger N.C.C. 1860

Reason #5 to attend Mountain-Con:
Kevin Sorbo

Kevin will be our major headliner at Mountain-Con this year.

Don't know what Kevin has done? Then you must not have watched much of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" or "Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda".

In addition to playing the title characters of these two shows (Hercules and Captain Dylan Hunt, respectively) Kevin has played several other interesting characters, including the title character in "Kull, the Conqueror" and a preacher-turned-bounty hunter in the recent Western "Avenging Angel", the third-highest rated TV movie in The Hallmark Channel's history. He has also guest starred on several shows including "Just Shoot Me", "Two and a Half Men", "Psych", and "Dharma and Greg".

Kevin Sorbo is also a spokesman for "A World fit for Kids", a non-profit organization that provides gang, drug, and dropout prevention to teens through mentoring programs. Kevin was also named as the spokesman for "The Afterschool Alliance", succeeding Arnold Schwarzenegger. "The Afterschool Alliance" helps to ensure that all children have access to safe, enriching afterschool programs by the year 2010.

For more information on Kevin Sorbo's career, visit his official Web site at: http://www.kevinsorbo.net. You may also wish to visit his page on IMDB here. (Special thanks to these Web sites for most of the information presented in this post.)

To recap:

Reason #1 to attend Mountain-Con: "Because it's just that COOL!"

Reason #2 to attend Mountain-Con: Brandon Sanderson

Reason #3 to attend Mountain-Con: KidCon

Reason #4 to attend Mountain-Con: "Location, location, location!"

Reason #5 to attend Mountain-Con:
Kevin Sorbo
