Well I am not the greatest poet in the world Stargazer but I hope I rate better that Vogon poetry. I wouldn't want to cause anyone pain lol :)

PERFECT ORDER:

we fed all of human knowlege
into the great machine.
which now controls us,
and dictates our dreams.

Freedom, give us freedom,
to speak with an unprogrammed voice.
Humanity, allow us the humanity,
to live for dreams of our own choice.

Minds assaulted, within and without,
cold logic takes over, pushing emotions out.
Printed circuits, processors replace human brains,
Computer order, the individual is insane.

Any perfect order, must be totally logistic,
independant thoughts, completely inconsistant.
On and on, the cold metallic voice drones,
logically creating, a society of perfect clones.

freedom, bring us freedom,
with which to make our own choice.
Humanity, do we remember the humanity?

of a compassionate, warm human voice...

IN THE ABSENCE OF LIGHT:

Circling and circling endlessly
around a star turned darker than night,
lies a world where vile, nameless things lurk,
growing and spreading in the absence of light.

The gravity keeps them on their bellies
where they slither slide and crawl
through meandering cracks in the surface ice,
dimly remembering past lives, not understood at all.

Long ago their world was new and full of life,
beneath a star that would ever shine bright.
They lived and loved within towering cities of steel,
until the day the star grew dark, losing warmth and light.

Circling and circling endlessly
around a star turned darker than night,
lies the world where still, descendants of men lurk,
growing and spreading in the absence of light...

Alone, He stands...
Alone, He straightens his uniform as he marches to war...
Alone, He draws his blade...
Alone, He whispers her name...
Alone, He stand infront of thousands sworn to fight for freedom and peace...
Alone, He prepares himself to die...
Alone, He remembers her death, because of him...
Alone, He rushes in...
Alone, He fights and he wins...
Alone, He dissappears back to the front...
Alone, He tries to make amends with his soul...
Alone, He swears emotion off, and embraces Kulinhar...
Alone, He cries at night as he stares at her face, and reads the list of dead...
Alone, He accepts the responsibility of all the deaths of war...
Alone, He lives among many...
Alone, He dies...

Don't even the latinun endures forever.
Stars and nebulas can't fill an empty hart.
Still, as many as there are universes to seek,
are there the human fears apart.
