I'm more into robotics, and it continues to bewilder me why there are so few robots and androids in any version of Star Trek. By the 23rd century robots would be everywhere at every level of Federation society like droids are in the Star Wars galaxy. A ship of the line like the Enterprise (in any incarnation) would have hundreds, even thousands of robots, maintaining the ship inside and out. So what would a Federation Starfleet-issue "droid" look like? Your guess is as
good as mine. So lets get busy!
