i like the way that they used bits and pieces of the Excelsior Class and the Sovereign Class.

Greetings all!

As a long time Trekfan and RPG GM, I love engineering. When it comes to ships, I'm a bit of a demented fanatic. I, too love Star Trek engineering. It's the hsrdest part to play on an RPG so I get called on a lot for help. I am a novice to artwork. T.A.T. That's a nice mod of the JJprise. Getting rid of the Shuttlebay at the rear is a great idea. That leaves room for the main plasma conduits to get to the nacelles!

I agree with K'allen on the ship. The new Enterprise is definitely a DIvI veq-duj!

I, too designed a ship recently. It's essentially an upgraded Saladin class refit variant. I cal it Olympus Mons Class. The ship is called the USS Kilimanjaro.

The Mesh was done for me by Axeman3D (Kenny Mitchell) He did this render for me as well. I had shown him the "Kitbash" idea. he wrote back telling me he hated kitbashes but made this for me.

Zero Kid- Very nice ship. Nice idea. I'd like to see it come to life. As far as anming a class, there are many sources. Some people use astronomers, Historical figures, Battleship in the Nave are traditionally named after states if I'm not mistaken. You coulod also look to ST history for names. Ex. Izar class, Archer Class, etc. Or even planets: Sarpeidon Class, Ardana Class, Talos Class. Try looking through the Memory Alpha site. It is easy to use and has a lot of information and many ship names in there as well. I've found that a lot of ship classes are named after the original 12 Constitutions. Like the Excalibur Class, Defiant Class, Constellation class. Let's see how many of those names I remember. Lemme get my Nerd on!

I like your mods...makes it look way better than Abrams/Trek version. I still can't see why they just don't use the original design though.
