STAR TREK: OUTPOST - Audio Production Panels at Denver Comic Con!
Explore the audio frontier at DCC with the cast and crew of Giant Gnome Productions' popular fan production, Star Trek: Outpost! In this interactive session,you'll learn some of the ins and outs of audio production, plus where to get free resources to do your own production or star in an existing one! From writing scripts to creating the final mix, we'll cover it all! Several lucky volunteers will get to participate in this interactive panel and lend their voices to a live demonstration as we create a "mini-sode" on site! On the second day of the panel, we'll share the completed "mini-sode", which will be published on the Giant Gnome website as part of our ongoing production! All participating audience members will receive voice credit.

Coming in March, during Outpost's annual hiatus, we have a special treat -- the "mini-sode" produced at COSine - a science fiction convention in Colorado Springs, CO! The "mini-sode" will feature the voice talents of Paul Lavelle, Cary Ayers, and some brave souls from our audience who volunteered to be part of the production!

Here is the poster the folks at Giant Gnome issued to promote the Star Trek: Outpost folks appearing at the Denver Comicon at the end of May!  If you live in the area or plan on going to Comicon in Denver, be sure to check out their session on creating audio drama podcasts!

BREAKING NEWS: The Cast and Crew of Star Trek: Outpost have been informed they have been invited to present a panel at DENVER COMICON May 31-June2, 2013!!! Guests for the con include George Takei, Wil Wheaton, and Stan Lee!

We will be recording a new "mini-sode" like we did for Starfest last year -- and the organizers of DCC tell us we should expect 150 people for our session! We will be posting a sign-up for the session as it gets closer to convention time, so keep your eyes out!

But there's a catch -- we need your help! We need to spread the word about our session! Please share this post with all your Trek and audio drama friends! We'd love to rock the house at DCC this year!
