I thought one had been planned.

Creation can be so stupid.  Try explaining why Megan Martin didn't even make the finals in the costume contest.  I'm glad Eric won, don't get me wrong, but she should have at least made the finals and you should have had your panel.

There was supposed to be another one this year but it was cancelled. No reason given.

I was curious if any of the former STTE cast members have ever made any appearances at a con before?  I mean, with the exception of a couple of actors, you guys played your roles much longer than the actors on the shows.  Not to mention you did it almost every day, whereas the actors from the shows only played their characters for a few months out of the year.

Thanks, April.  I dry cleaned the whole thing.  It's all packed away and ready for next year.  Hopefully I will be the one who gets to wear it. LOL

Hi Saavik;
Make sure you dry clean the gray/black wool part of the costume. The mock turtleneck underneath (gold, maroon or blue) can be washed.

Well, we had a great time at the Rio. I think since the Rio is so big, that we were spread out and did not have a "home bar" to hang out. It looks like that the Mascarete bar did it on Sunday but still we were all over.

The McFadden was great on Wed night but it was bad on Thursday, DVD Geegs had to moved to the far side and have the quest in a little tight corner. The drinks for $30 were real bad, Mc Fadden did not made up to our expectation. may be they need to learn that "we assimilate". I hope they learned. The Crown night club started ok for an hour or so, but the music was the same over and over and that make everybody leave. We will not go there again.

We need a place to get together with good food and drinks like Quarks, then and only then we will fee like "home".

The one from the Borg 4D.  I kind of figured but wanted to check in case I could just wash it and put it away for next year.  Thanks

How would Star Trek interact with the city of domes?

All I know for sure is that if the original Enterprise ever encountered this kind of society, Captain Kirk would've said, "The hell with the Prime Directive! We have to put a stop to this madness!" And then blasted the place from orbit. After that, he probably would have checked into the Love Shop for an extended shore leave.See More

October 22: On This Day In Science Fiction History

Jeff Goldblum has always done some interesting work.  He captivated audiences as the scientist slowly losing his mind -- but not his humanity -- in David Cronenberg's remake of The Fly; and he walked us through the paces of Chaos Theory in Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park.  And lest we forget to celebrate our…See More
