Comment by Saavik on February 9, 2012 at 2:24pm In other words, I was a hard core headbanger. Now I have the Sinatra station marked on my XM radio. LOL
Comment by Saavik on February 9, 2012 at 2:23pm Nope. Rush, UFO, Blue Oyster Cult, Motor Head, Sabbath. First concert I ever went to was Fleetwood Mac, the Rhiannon tour, though. And I went to see Supertramp once, but that was a date.
Comment by JD on February 9, 2012 at 12:29pm I'll bet she had an ABBA album or two tucked away in her collection.
Comment by Rob on February 9, 2012 at 11:37am @ saavik, A much better look, remember seeing Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, when they where considered the loudest band ever at the time, perhaps ever, lol.
Of course for some of us it was big bells and white t-shirts.
Ahhh, the memories, when concerts went for 7.50 a pop and movies where affordable - Blockbusters with lines and full three month runs
Comment by Saavik on February 8, 2012 at 5:00pm Nope, Rob, I was the one dressing like Joan Jett and the Runaways. LOL
Comment by Lidia on February 8, 2012 at 3:19pm @Rob
Don't forget about the cages...haha
Comment by Rob on February 8, 2012 at 1:20pm JD you are probably right.
Saavik, I wasn't sure, you could have been a closet disco gal with the day glo shoes, lol
Comment by Captain A. Thompson on February 8, 2012 at 1:13pm I had a Pinto and 8 track long ago. Still have a reel to reel down in the garage. Wonder if it still works.
Comment by JD on February 8, 2012 at 1:00pm Sadly, there are probably people reading this that have no idea what an 8-track, reel to reel, or Pinto even are.
Comment by Saavik on February 8, 2012 at 11:47am Do you REALLY think someone who has bought so many different versions of an album by Rush would like disco?
