Comment by Brandon Ayers on July 10, 2011 at 8:05pm: As I can't read Surak's teachings, I've found Marcus Aurelius to be a good substitute. I suggest reading his books : Meditations. Which is what it's published as but it really is just notes to himself in a rather easy to read form. Many of the small sentences or paragraphs can be contemplated on for hours on end.
