Same message for members of the Cardassian Union...is DuKat/Marc Alaimo still w/ us??  I truely hope so.  And the other leading Cardassian characters...Linda Thorson, Casey Biggs, Garak and DuKats daughter??  Less than 6 mo. until Star Trek, Las Vegas 2012.  Wouldnt it be kewl to have an organized Cardassian presence there, like the  Klingons and the Feds??

K'Hel

You know my feelings on this my friend K'Hel!

I am 100% with you!   I have my Cardassian mask pieces - so halfway there -lol Let me know how I can help  you?

I know of no Cardassian Uniforms that can be bought !!  ---  though!  Only what people make up themselves!!??

Here are some ''real''  costumes from the auctions after DS9 ended!!

Your friend as always,

Neelie

Greetings,

There are lots of "warm bodies" here...people that are here, but talking, mostly, which is good.  I am wondering about putting action to ones words??  A working Cardassian Union...an actual group, even by correspondence, that researches costume design, weapons, pics of actors and prothetics/applications of make-up?? Yes, this all takes time and some useage of gold-pressed latinum, lol, but wouldnt it be kewl to enter a major Star Trek convention, en masse, 10+ Cardassians or more, in full, or nearly full uniformed?? There are "standard" Klingon uniforms, but one also sees variations.  Find/make a pattern for an accepted Cardassian-style uniform and spread the knowledge and urge the creation of such uniforms.  The same way w/ prosthetics and weapons.  I know talk is easy, but talking fans the creative fires, shared ideas becomes a place to "make it so"The Klingons and the Feds are very well organized, as are some of the other groups.  Let us see if we can bring new life into the Union??

In Service and Strength,

K'Hel

Excellent, I just found your site..  I have Cardassian friends and I enjoyed the exploits of the major Cardassian characters...though my Heart is KLINGON...I can still admire a race fo warriors, like in tales  from the Mirroe-verse...Terok Nor...QaPLaH"

Before I ever found trekspace, I came across this very webpage while searching for a Kanar recipe. I got most of the ingredients (and substitutes for the ones they didn't have) in little samplers to try my Kanar. I'm just waiting for when I can put it all together and drink it. Haha, I've got a fantastic tolerance for alcohol, but....gin, tequila, rum...yep, I'm not taking any chances in case it knocks me on my butt!!!

Yay!  I'll definitely be wearing my Cardassian ensemble on Saturday!  I hope you're able to make it, it would be so great to meet up with a fellow Cardassian!

Currently I plan on going--barring any complications.  We usually make it for Saturday, and it would be SOOOO cool to see another Cardie!
