I started reading a book about Cardassia...I forgot what it was called!
But him and Keiko went to Cardassia to rebuild. I only read the first fifty pages
or so. I don't read as much as I would like to.
Actualy Andrew Robinson, the actor who played Garak, wrote a book called a stich in time. It is actually a series of letters Garak writes to Dr. Bashir. Most of it describes Garak's upbringing and induction into the Obssdian Order, the other part is how a fledgling democracy emerging on Cardassia, {of course Garak sees it as waste of time!}.
The line i remember in that novel is Garak saying the problem with freedom of speech is, that everyone feels they must say what they are thinking even when no one cares. {of corse I'm parphraseing but i'm sure people get the point}
I have read that book. I must really be getting old as I cannot remember a thing about it. I think it's behind me on one of my bookcases, I'll have to revisit it for a refresher; but I KNOW I've read it.
I have read that book,"A Stitch In Time". Its been a while but I still have it and I remember that I liked it very much. It explained a LOT of his background which was great.
I think garak would end up like my dad, old and complaining about everything, or quitely blending into the shadows waiting for his chance to do something dirty again
