The week of June 27th, 2012 kicks off the fifth Second Life Science Fiction Convention (SLSFC5) hosted by The Trek Federation and Trek Radio.  All proceeds from donations and ticket sales go to the American Cancer Society chapter.

This year’s celebrity guests include Richard Hatch (BSG), Jonathan Frakes (TNG), Garrett Wang (VOY), and Star Trek royalty Rod Roddenberry!  If you’d like to ask any of the celebrities a question, you can do so by emailing questions@trekradio.net or join the IRC chatroom to ask your question in person.

This series is where I first became hooked on Star Trek, I watched every episode,  then I started watching the movies, and I started collecting old comic books, got the pewter ships from Franklin Mint, collected trading cards, etc. My favorite captain was Picard. also I wish to say I just joined this group tonight, and I hope to hear more from other STTNG FANS.

good morning all .i hope ya'all doing well?.i have a a request i found out that NASA is closeing the John Glenn Reserech center visteing center. what for i have no ideal. As a treker i feel that this might hurt furtuer dreams ,scienitcs, and exploers of space.star trek help encouage alot of peolep at NASA we should do the same.please help get the word out and keep th JOHN GLENN X-1 RESERCH CENTER VISTING CENTER in Ohio open

Awesome to find this group. DS9 still my favourite but TNG has got to be second.
Data is cool. yay. And especially "Data's Day" because I can just so relate to some of his awkward faux pas... what's the plural for that??!

Hello!

I signed up with TrekSpace just a few days ago, and I have been exploring the groups I joined as I had the time. One of my very favorite Star Trek episodes is "Unification", especially Part 2. I love those scenes between Spock and Data, especially that one on the ship when they talk about who they are. I have been wondering what Leonard Nimoy had to say (if anything) about that scene on the ship, or about working with Brent/Data and Patrick Stewart/Captain Picard. Does anyone here know anything about this?
