MAKE IT SO! The continuing adventures of the USS CYGNUS.... For all keen Simmers! Jump on and join in!
IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE GAME PLEASE READ THE PREVIOUS FEW PAGES BEFORE YOU POST! GET TO GRIPS WITH THE STORY SO FAR AND THEN WHEN YOU ARE READY JUMP IN AND HAVE FUN WITH IT!
BUT PLEASE DONT RUN IN PHASERS BLAZING BEFORE YOU HAVE INTRODUCED YOURSELF AND STATED YOUR INTENTIONS!
This is the prime directive. Before joining in it is best to send a private message to the Captain, discuss your character and position onboard. Before you send that live post, is it going to ADD to the fun? Or will it be derogatory, slandering, offensive in anyway? Let's all play fair and don't stop another player from bringing a thought or scenario into live sim play.
The GM (Games Master), the Captain of the ship shall be in control of the ship at all times. If you have a big idea you want to see unfold on the live sim... Private Message the Captain or another person and work out the details first and then and only then the two of you can bring it into the sim. If a crew member get's out of line and begins to stray or alter the live sim in any way other than where the Captain wants it to go, THEY ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE PRIME DIRECTIVE! DO NOT HIJACK THE STORY! BE A TEAM PLAYER!
Many Thanks
Captain Richard Magnusson - Games Master

Permalink Reply by Q on June 29, 2012 at 7:07pm The copper orb crackled to life. An authoritarian face smiled into view. “Well done, Ambassador T’Sinde. For successfully completing the first level, you will receive food and drink as refreshment, some time to rest, and some bonuses consisting of a weapon, armor, and 16 strips of gold pressed latinum.”
“Your generous offer of money I must refuse, with my apologies. Good terms with the United Federation of Planets are earned through mutual trust, understanding, honor, friendship, things of value that extend far beyond the material. As for weapons or armor, my mission is a peaceful one, therefore I again respectfully decline. Food, drink, and rest sound most welcome—moreso if accepting them involves meeting First Citizen Jakurat in person.” Without turning her glance from the orb, T’Sinde could hear security guards nearby setting down what she assumed were meant to be her bonus prizes in neat piles.
The face in the orb continued its agenda. “Are you ready for the next level?”
“Am I guaranteed a meeting with First Citizen Jakurat on the next level?”
The copper orb went dark …
************************************************************************
… And now came this greeting, “Good day Ambassador T’Sinde I am Captain Magnusson of the USS Cygnus, it is an honour to meet you!”
“The honour is mine, Captain Magnusson. I look forward to getting to know you and your crew better, as I have not yet had the opportunity to get to know First Citizen Jakurat.”
T’Sinde briefly explained her situation to the Captain. She did have the liberty to come and go as she pleased, and in fact had beamed aboard a merchant vessel in the area for a change of scenery while waiting for the Cygnus to arrive … But she had neither set foot outside on the planet’s surface, nor seen Jakurat.

Magnusson to Shran, keep a discreet distance please. Observe only... for now.
Permalink Reply by Captain Shran III: aka Patrick on July 2, 2012 at 2:20pm That was my intention sir. Thank you.
(In my peripheral vision I could see that Shran was following us. We were all being very careful not to alarm these people as visits by outsiders were very rare. The interiors of these rooms and halls are all to impressive and strangely the locals around us are going about there business as if we aren't even here. Finally we reach an amazing hall with giant pillars. It somewhat reminds me of Earths ancient Rome but a much more modern version).
The Being: Now if you and your friends, YES, AND YOU HIDING BEHIND THAT PILLAR! (Shran comes out and joines us totally surprised that he was seen) and I will be back with Citizen Jakurat!

Kind of glad your here old friend. I can just imagine what this Citizen Jakurat is going to look like. Guards, you can stand down. You might as well being that you no longer have weapons (chuckles)!
"Kurkura to Cygnus, my comm is back on-line. As per orders, I am still walking and looking. No real contact with the inhabitants. If they sense or detect me, it is no worries to them. No biological or mechanical traces, but there is something or someone, always at the edge of my vision."
