And please be careful out there the Christians are going AMOK out there trying to ASSIMILATE you more than normally during this time (and its against the law to do the old ways of getting rid of them so a cow prod is very useful LOL)

In the religion the fear of dying is something that isent just done or something to fear you die anyway in the end and the Faith Norns have already decided when you die but its is up to you how you live your life and what you do to make yourself worthy to go to Valhalla or somewhere else after you die.

Sometimes it also depends where you go is by what Gods you personally worship and if they look upon you with grace and because of how you have honored them and shown yourself to be worthy of theyr attention acording to what they themselves believe in is a virtue and what things should be like and done.

Some of the Gods can and are allowed to petition and ask Odin to ask for someone to enter Valhalla but there are some of them that already have their own halls for their honored dead ones and their own warriors to fight for Asgard or continue to make life in Asgard more of a diverse and beautiful place either by joining the specific gods hall or home.

There are so many that do not understand how or why the old Gods are alike or/and how they are worshiped.

Well the thing is the Gods and worshiping them is a personal thing and is never the same between person's and its frowned upon and is a BIG TABOO to even discuss it, But we sometimes do talk about who of the Gods we worship but that is also a personal thing and who would want to reveal that he/she worships Thor and would have NO compunctions of beating you up or Loki (that sort of a tells it self LOL),

The Old Gods are not Evil or Demonic  (as the Catholic church has made them out to be) the religion goes out for worshiping Nature (human or the actual natural one) and has no restriction to what Gods outside of the religion you worship as long as you respect and give the Gods what they (YOU think the deserve) the Gods are as good and can giving as you want them to be (as long as you dont bother them to much LOL).

 

I will be writing more about the religion as time goes by and according to my experience with it and MY personal views (as long as i wont offend the Gods and wont be hit by a lightning for doing it LOL)

If you havent heard the Viking Prayer on Youtube from the 13th warrior please look it up its the closest one to the true last rites of a Viking "There i will see my Father" "in Valhalla were the GOD's reside".The Burial rites of the viking's are very intresting even after those of the "White Christ" forced the worshippers of the old gods into hiding and restricted the rites into something that was called "EVIL Devil worship" by them and in the words from one of my Fav Viking scene's in a movie "you cant even kill any one any more" (from the White Raven movie (Icelandic)).

I think i realy DID piss Thor off there were thunder and lightning here in Iceland few days ago LOL. (Man those gods can be pretty touchy).
This does prove there is some life in the OLD God's still lol.
