After being away from simming for awhile I am back and ready to get going again. We are revamping one site the USS Valley Forge and look forward to getting back to it again.
Comment by T'Bree on September 19, 2012 at 8:10am Thank you so much, Captain Vokar. I am glad you're enjoying it. :-D
Comment by Captain Vokar on September 19, 2012 at 8:02am It didn't T'Bree :) this is exactly the place for telling people about any form of writing, be it fanfic or a roleplaying organisation.
Btw, I've enjoyed what I've read so far of the Incident, keep up the good work :)
Comment by T'Bree on September 19, 2012 at 7:57am Forgive me if my remarking about the launching of my fan fiction in pdf paperbook form set off this firestorm. Quite frankly, I was of the opinion this was the best place for that announcement. :-O I suppose, I should have added a Discussion, instead. Yikes.
Comment by Captain Vokar on September 18, 2012 at 5:25pm Well, personally, what I like to see is what I've tried to do with my page, I tailored it to fit one of my characters, with occasional personal logs, a RSS feed connected to our log archive and some images of the crew.
I believe it allows people to see into one of the characters onboard the ship as well as read into some more of the plot logs if he/she wishes, they can then read at their leisure or, if they like where things are going, sign up and join in.
I plan on adding much more into things as time moves on, I do have other characters, but Captain Vokar is by far the most developed of them.
So in an attempt to make things a bit more positive... I belong to a different rpg group (Federation Space) and if you scroll back a few you'll see I did a kind of advert too, mostly because I wasn't sure what to post here. I play five different characters and tend to do several posts a day. Now I could put up some of those posts but you need to read the whole plot for a lot of them to make sense...
Anyway, my question is, what do people want to see here, what would you like to know about what we write, what would interest you? This is a question for everyone because I really do want to know. It's a lot easier to put up a single fan fic but role playing is a bit harder to describe without boring people senseless ;)
Comment by Admiral Finchley Kerr on September 18, 2012 at 5:18pm I know, however, knowing John, I still don't think he'd like to see this sort of thing happening, I sure don't and to me I think it's sad when 2 people, who obviously love Star Trek as much as the rest of the people here, should argue openly. I don't wish to leave his group, but things like this put me off, and if it continues I shall.
Comment by Captain Vokar on September 18, 2012 at 5:11pm I was just defending my decision to post about UCIP in this group, I shouldn't have to justify my decision, it is something I enjoy, which is what this group is for, sharing something you enjoy.
Comment by Admiral Finchley Kerr on September 18, 2012 at 5:09pm Can we please use PM's for comments thanks. I'm sure John doesn't want to see this sort of arguing happening on the list.
