This thread contains SPOILERS! Any writers or want-to-be writers here with an open mind and an appreciation for Star Trek Into Darkness, who could imagine just tweaking it a bit to make it less... problematic? I really liked the movie but (like some) have a few issues with it. Rather than throwing my hands up in disgust, I'd like to think some slight adjustments in dialogue and editing could have eliminated them.
