Subject: Personal Introduction
Dear Visitor,
Star Trek and I
I've been a Star Trek fan since before I can remember. I first watched the Original Series with my grand-father when I was very young and, ever since then I have tried to live the ideals displayed by the officers and crew of the Starship Enterprise. I love all of Star Trek not just one series or set of movies. I saw the Motion Picture the day it came out at the Gallagher Theater at the University of Arizona.
Gaming
I love Star Trek Online, if you're an SFI member please friend me in STO so we can start an SFI fleet there.
My Favorites
My favorite Trek films are TMP, WOK and First Contact. My series preference goes like this: TOS, TNG, Enterprise, Voyager, DS9.
STARFLEET The International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc
I was a huge show off fan in middle school. I created my own Star Trek club which eventually became a shuttle (Nova) under the Star Fleet International. I first joined the fleet in the 90’s and was a member for a year, then I left town to join the Air Force and my membership lapsed for many years. I took several command courses while first a part of the club they were a bit different back then, but still fun. I rejoined the SFI just this year. I enjoy the on-line courses, they are entertaining and informative.
I'm currently assigned to the USS Aurora.
Conventions Etc
I have been to several Con's and my favorite was the one in Everett where I stayed over night. I've been to the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas twice.
Collectibles
I have collected Star Trek memorabilia since I was a teenager but the collection has slowly disappeared over the years. I'm up to about a dozen Star Fleet uniforms that I'm saving for when I have my own ship slash chapter.
Real-World Education
I attended college in Lynnwood Washington at Central Washington University (CWU) s’ extension campus there. I majored in Law and Justice with a specialization in pre-law and paralegal studies. I was accepted to Law School but decided to skip law school so I could stay near my children here in the Northwest.
Trek Space
I'm glad to be apart of Trekspace, it's been a great place to meet new trek friends and allow for Trek-networking.
Anyway, I’m glad to be a part of such a great Net Community. Here’s to the journey.

First Year in SFI
Well I renewed my STARFLEET membership a few months ago. It's hard to believe that it's only been a year since I signed up. There's been a lot of activity over the first year, starting with the ups and downs I had trying to start up the USS Aurora and ending up with me as Chief of Communications on USS Vrekasht.

USS Thermopylae
I have transferred to the USS Thermopylae, as far as I can tell it is quite possibly the best ship in the Fleet. I'm not just blowing smoke either, I think they have the largest crew, they have multiple awards, their Staff seems to manage many aspects of the Communique, etc.

Wow can you believe it's already August of 2008? It's scary, someone slow down this ride already.
Well it looks like my part in creating the USS Aurora is over. It's too bad, it could have been alot of fun. Unfortunately I just don't get along with the Captain. Future Star Fleet InsigniaPlans to start a local shuttle are moving forward again. Looks like we're going to set the ship in the far future, somewhere after Voyager makes it home but before the 29th Century. You may recognize the insignia and uniforms from various episodes of Voyager and Next Generation.

In a world where one is always wishing for world peace and yet seeing it's opposite all when needs to do is look to the relationships in there day-to-day lives to find a root cause of the problem. Let's face it, people are difficult and they just don't seem to get along well together.

I was just talking with my friend B about Star Trek Phase II. He was talking about the interesting new fan made Star Trek series but I had inadvertently started thinking of the older Phase II, the series Paramount had started making in the 70's and then shut down before filming.
