Another bit of news

An ambitious franchise restart in the tradition of Batman Begins and Casino Royale, this intergalactic adventure centers around the meeting of two wet-behind-the-ears Starfleet recruits: half-Vulcan Spock and all-American rebel James T. Kirk. Thrown together on a perilous mission, they must settle their differences to defeat a nefarious time-travelling Romulan. Amid explosions, fistfights, and faster-than-light travel, we witness the beginnings of one of the most famous friendships in TV and… Continue

Heres something i found out

Director J.J. Abrams put himself in a perilous position when he agreed to direct a new movie version of "Star Trek." On one side, he had the fans. They had embraced a short-lived science fiction television show from the 1960s and, through sheer affection and determination, turned it into a worldwide institution. But in addition to being fiercely loyal, Trekkies can be finicky (for example, if you call them that, rather than "Trekkers"). The television shows, movies, books, graphic novels and… Continue

The Time line

Wow some of you want to hang on soooo bad to the old time line its scary.

Well its all in how you look at it.

It was said that everything has changed since Nero came from the future creating a new time line therefore change all of Trek history from TOS on..

WHY ? BECAUSE NOTHING ELSE HAS HAPPENED YET.

Its a clean slate Kirk may not die helping Jean Luc ,Spock may die fighting Khan.

The only thing we now know is Vulcan is gone and the Romulans should cover their butts… Continue

Something to think about.

I came across this little bit of news.

With the world of Star Trek switched to an alternate reality timeline, as far as future stories are concerned, anything goes.

As reported by MTV, one of the problems writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci faced while penning the prequel Star Trek XI was that the future was already known by the fans. "One of the obstacles that we found ourselves butting up against [when we took on the job] was this idea that we already knew the… Continue

I saw it and still ,im in shock.

Well i have to admit i was great.

I went in wanting, hoping and it was good .I didnt expect much form it and i think that was the best part i was comparing it to what i know and i was back in the trek zone by the end of the movie updated and it explained mostof my question at least the main ones that made me like this film.

I went with my Trek group and a few more friends and even a Star Wars fan who turned to me and said "Now i see why you like Star Trek ."

So i guess he did what… Continue
