Minister Samuels and Admiral Forrest jointly announced last night that the launch of the first Warp 5 starship, the NX-01 Enterprise, is accelerating more than three weeks following a recent incident in Oklahoma, in which a member of an alien species previously unknown to Earth, a Klingon, was injured in some sort of firefight. The launch is slated for Monday, but it remains to be seen if the finishing work can be completed by then.

I've arrived, finally, at Starfleet Academy. It was a difficult decision, but with Henry Archer's Warp 5 project so near completion, the explorer in me knew Starfleet was the only real path to live the dream of finally peering out into the infinite breadth of the cosmos to see things the most powerful telescopes cannot tell us.
