No
About Me:
I watched my first Star Trek in the fall of 1968, the one with the Kons & Yangs. loved Star Trek ever since. This story is about the only show today that gives a positive view of our future.

In the picture on the wall to my left is NCC-1701A with sectional interior highlights. And the one one the right is Enterprise-D from a Next Generation promo poster. The wall behind me, that you can not see has many posters or banners from my brothers employer. That company use to be Martian Marietta and is now called Lockheed Martian. He has been building Mars probes since 1986. He also worked for Ball Aerospace when they did the Comet Impact mission.

Back last century I was the victim of a Colorado driver on a Colorado Mountain Road. I died on the ER operating table from massive injuries, but was revived. I was hospitalized 374 days of the 500 expected. I left or more correctly was ejected because my hospital bills exceed the then limit of $1.33 million by federal law and my case was handed to the federal government for payment by them.

I was expected to remain a vegetable in bed for the rest of my life. I believed in Mind over Matter, is cam from Mr. Spock from the TOS series. I have even talked to Lenard Nimoy in person to thank him and his character of Spock in helping me get back 85% to 90% of what that drunk driver had taken from me in his car accident.

If it was not for Star Trek, I could still be in my Coma or have died in it, or as in most cases of an exposed brain, have the mentality of a toddler.

From the above stated facts, do you have any question why I am a fan of Star Trek.

P.S. On my first birthday JFK said America is going to the moon by the end of that decade.

Hey, Dean, welcome to the place, and hope you enjoy your stay.  Sorry to hear about your personal trials in life, but yours is a far stronger soul than mine due to all that you've endured in your time on the big blue marble.  Yeppers, I enjoy writing me some quality Trek (I used to dabble quite a bit in fanfiction ... you can google "Federation's End" under my pen name E. L. Zimmerman if you're interested ... but Pocket Books wanted nothing to do with my work, sad to say).  There's plenty of Trek to chat about on the boards here, and feel free to also personal message me any time you like.  Always looking for another comrade to swap Trek whatnot with.
