- I'm a single mom, a Trekkie, a computer geek, and an aspiring rock goddess. I work at AT&T WiFi keeping your free internet working at McDonald’s, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc (you’re welcome). Lt. Uhura has always been my hero-before becoming a computer geek I was a combat linguist in the US Army, hoping to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming the first person to translate alien languages. I'm active in STARFLEET Academy and am working towards a doctorate in alien studies.
