About Me:: I am a very long-time Star Trek fan dating back to the mid-1970's in the Western Oregon area. I attended Star Trek Conventions in Portland presented by Creation, and in Eugene by an organization that is no longer around called Slanted Fedora. I really miss those Slanted Fedora Cons, as they were more "people/family oriented". I attended 3 speaker sessions of Gene Roddenberry in academic settings and at the Oregon State Fair in 1981. I have run many Star Trek Fanships before, 2 of them here in Los Angeles. I tend to be very Canon specific when it comes to Trek, which is why I was disappointed with Enterprise and the J.J. Abrams fim. I run a Star Trek fanship called STAR TREK: Gene's Dream here in Los Angeles!
