One of his friends and he are working to get a new resort built in Vegas. And you guessed it, Star Trek themed. It will in fact be shaped like the Enterprise D if everything goes right. And as for the uniforms, oops, hate to admit it; I never did own one. Had all kinds of other Trek memorabilia though. Clocks, remotes, wall murals, collector plates, models, posters, novels, bumper stickers, yeah it was pretty Trek in my house for a long time. But unfortunately a lot of that is gone now also. Some of it packed up and some of gone, unfortunately.

I have not seen the fan made ones you are referring to. However, I have seen the fan made episodes that are coming out of NY. In fact a large number of Trek actors have had appearances in these. It's @ Star Trek: Phase 2. They are not bad, even down to the special effects. Acting could use a little work, overall though, not bad.

Abrams is still at the helm, so, there is hope. Was watching an episode of Voyager the other day and caught a continuity error. In one scene the Dr. is holding a hand scanner and tri-corder, in the next he is holding a padd, and we never see him switch up. Anyway, thanks for getting back to me. Currently I am doing a M*A*S*H marathon.
