A group dedicated to fans of the darkest, most sinister villains of the Star Trek Universe: the Borg! Come and discuss borg physiology, nanoprobes, cubes and spheres, psychology of the drone, theories on the Queen and anything borg-related!
"I find it more fun to go to Comic-Con in San Diego instead because it has Star Trek and other stuff I like too like the X-Men, Buffy, Firefly, Marvel, DC, artists' panels, writers' panels and SO MUCH MORE!"
I love Harry Potter, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Heroes, X-Men and of course ALL of Star Trek. Not really a huge fan of Star Wars and LotR, but I'm trying to get involved in those phenomena.
I also love cooking, dining out, hanging out with friends, watching movies, drawing, writing (songs and stories), singing karaoke and dancing. Not really a health nut although I do have a membership at L.A. Fitness. I haven't gone in quite some time now. :p

Online Starbase is a Star Trek/Starfleet themed forum. Founded in 2002, it has remained a place of values and respect with an active membership base, and the mission statement of being an active forum community set within a Star Trek frame of reference and using a long-standing promotion criteria. Members begin their Online Starbase career at the entry-level rank of ensign, with opportunities to advance in both rank and assignment dependent on levels of active participation and ability to contribute. Additionally, Online Starbase sets it self apart from other organizations due to the fact ranks are earned through service and positions are granted based on starbase qualifications, positions which are non-simm, and actually operate the website in its many areas.
Online Starbase's first commanding officer was Robert Richardson, who had used his experience from prior military and online trek organizations to develop the basic rank, regulations, and procedural infrastructure still used today. His goals were not to develop the base into a large organization, however, and because of this decision, membership remained small and exclusive for years. Ewan Vanguard, the second officer to promote to the position of starbase commander, made a mark in the direction of the community when one of his first decisions was to move the group to proboards and change the exclusivity of the membership, opening it up to public registration, a decision which would ultimately lead to a much larger membership and exposure on the web. Ryan W. Dean (December 2008-Present) is the most recent officer to advance to the office of Starbase Commander, after 6 years of service to the organization.
"Roop climbs off the transporter pad, slips out of his environmental suit and makes his way toward the bridge. Things seem to have went well on the planet surface, and now it is a matter of putting it all together on the ship with the rest of the…"
