I can't believe I hadn't heard anything about this before now. If I'd have known beforehand I would have pledged to their kickstarter. But it looks like they are still taking donations on their website www.newstarship.com. I hope they can eventually get this project done.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7cSsnLlXIQSee More

Trekscribbler (aka Ed) replied to James Wesley Tisdale's discussion Michael Dorn working on new Star Trek Series
"That wouldn't be "Star Trek." Don't get me wrong: I'd happily watch a Klingon Empire TV show, but the folks at Paramount probably would have a hard time "selling" it to a network, much less seeing it done properly."

About Me:
Just another Trek Fan. Been watching all the series ever since I can remember. The first movie I remember seeing was Wraith of Khan. Star Trek has been there throughout my life and in some ways it has contributed to who I am and the way I view the world.

September 22: On This Day In Science Fiction History

Where were you on this day back in 1990?I can tell you where I was: I was sitting by the television waiting for the premiere of Star Trek: The Next Generation's fourth season!  Are you kidding me?!  I -- like all other Trek enthusiasts -- had waited all summer to find out the fate of Captain…See More

September 21: On This Day In Science Fiction History

It was on this day back in 1991 that STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION returned from its summer break, launching into its fifth season with the episode, "Redemption, Part 2."  The story brought about what I thought was a much-too-neatly-tied-up end to the Klingon Civil War that had divided the Empire --…See More

What would Scotty do?

From everything that I saw on TOS, it was obvious that Scotty was a diehard nationalist, even in the 24th century. But if he were alive today, do you suppose he would've voted for or against Scottish independence? On the one hand, I think that he would like to see his country stand its own 2 feet, but at the same time, I think that his background in engineering would make him rational enough for him to see the benefits of remaining a part of the United Kingdom. In short, I just don't know!See More
