About Me:
I founded the USS Angeles in Los Angeles in 1995 and was the CO for the first 12 years. I am now the XO. Been a Trekkie since it all began in the 60s. Used to work at Paramount during the 4th season of TNG. Have met almost all of the various cast members of all the Trek shows. Have a huge collection of Trek items, mostly action figures and trading cards. Used to be a docent at the Star Trek exhibit at the Hollywood Entertainment Museum. I also love other sci fi shows and soap operas. I have a BA degree in Television Production. I LOVE the new Star Trek movie! I am active with Hidden Frontier Productions as a producer, director, actor and crewperson. They produce fan-film "webisodes" for the internet based on Star Trek. Let's face it... back in those days, MOST of us couldn't afford a phaser! lol
Hence the reason I buy DST phasers today by the case (to mod, and to someday build an arsenal rack like the Galileo had!).

Let's see, in 1977 a Brad Nelson with electronics was, what, $250 at a convention? Yeah, like I had $250 to spend at 13! I had to settle for the AMT exploration set pieces, which were TAS-based and not like TOS at all.

Sounds like you've gone much farther than I with your love of Trek. Keep up the good work!

Hi Janice!
Love the TOS skant, but DEAR LORD!
A blaster instead of a phaser?

Here, I gave you a vintage Ed Miarecki to hold instead!

Enjoy!

I was so happy to meet Matt. He's always been a favorite of mine on DOOL. I made sure Matt received his invite to the Leap Back 2009 con in March, and he's scheduled to attend! I hope I have a chance to say hi again, because I will be working the con.
