Hey Jenni ~ when you get a moment can you see if you can view the pics on my slide show... for some reason I can only see three or four of the 12 & when I add they aren't showing up from my computer... just curious if it's the same for everyone else! Thanks!

Really enjoyed all the eye candy! They did good I think, even though I haven't read the books. Speaking of V --- Hey have you been watching True Blood? Vampires are taking over!

Yes
About Me:
Trek has been a part of my life for most of my life, but I truly became a fan back in the late 80's with TNG and have been in love with Gene Roddenberry's universe ever since! Enterprise is currently my favorite, but I love them all equally!

Some of my other loves include: Books by Stephen King, Laurell K. Hamilton, P.N. Elrod, Dan Brown and Stephanie Meyer; Music mainly of the Rock/Metal variety, but also 80’s pop and Pink Floyd; the TV shows X-Files, Battlestar Galactica (both), Forever Knight, Alias, 24, MI-5, Stargate and Big Bang Theory; the movies Clue, Lethal Weapon (all 4), Rocky Horror, Re-Animator and anything by Kevin Smith or Quentin Tarantino; Trekcast--THE Star Trek podcast; and last, but definitely not least, my wonderful husband, Alan and our two furry four-legged daughters, Booda and Keeli.

My "How I Became a Trekkie" Story

My earliest Trek memory is of getting a Star Trek Colorforms set for Christmas one year in the late 70’s. (Remember Colorforms? Those plastic things that look like stickers, but don’t actually stick, and the shiny cardboard playset that the pieces cling to? Hmmm, I wonder if they still make those.) I have no memory of watching the show when I was a kid, but I know that I must have, because I was excited to get it and I knew every character in the set. Every character that is, except that weird a… Continue

Book review for ST:TNG #58/59 Gemworld by John Vornholt

This two-part book reacquaints us with Melora Pazlar, a character we met in the DS9 episode, Melora, who comes from a low gravity planet. In this story she is newly assigned to the Enterprise-E when she and Troi receive dream-visions about an imminent threat to her home planet, Gemworld, a planet composed of crystal formations, virtually no gravity and six radically different sentient species. The ship arrives to find that the malfunctioning shell that surrounds their planet and maintains their… Continue

Book review for ST:TNG Imzadi II by Peter David

Wow! What a great book! Peter David has such a great grasp of the characters and their dialogue. It is so vibrant, believable and funny. I’ve had this book for years and never bothered to read it before now. What was I thinking?!

This is essentially Worf’s story, inspired by the death of his Imzadi, Jadzia. In mourning her he remembers Deanna, the last woman he almost married, the story of their engagement and the complications that Will’s presence caused. His memories start just after the cras… Continue
