Thesis

Captain's Starlog, April 5, 2012.  It has been two years since my last blog post.  I realize that is a really huge gap in between blogs, but things have been very hectic in the last couple of years.  For one thing, I worked on my Portfolio project.  That was a very challenging project to work on and I don't have time to fill in the details.  Afterwards, I began preparations for my Thesis project (which I'm currently working on right now) with some smaller projects in between such as…

Going good thanks, Joe.  Today is another Shat Trek day where many more pics are to be taken in our quest to complete episode one: "To All The Gorn I've Loved Before"...  since undertaking this stop motion animation journey for the first time last year its definately noticable what things have been learned along the way. Key to good animating - one word:  Rigging.  Securing the figures firmly out side of the shot makes all the difference in whether or not its looking smooth.  Anyhow - it'll be 14 minutes of entertainment that hopefully folks will get a kick out of seeing.  Release date: sometime this summer... stay tuned.  Take care down there, Joe.

Thanks, Joseph - TOS is the King of Trek in my humble opinion. Nice to see you here as well and hope you get a chance to check out our stop motion spoof, called Shat Trek! All the best!
