Why thank you! Luckily she is "just enough" of a Star Trek fan to go along with it... I guess I have Insurrection (her first Trek movie) to thank for that... ::sigh::
Forgot to mention: you don't need a mission to go to Vulcan, Andor or Risa. Here on Andor, however, there is friendly PVP dueling available. Haven't tried that yet but looks like it might be good practice before hunting player Klingons!
Just mostly scenery right now...but nice scenery! Hopefully they will add some sort of "things to do" eventually...

- I've been a Star Trek fan as long as I can remember. I am also interested in videography/filmmaking with limited experience and have ideas I want to get off the ground, including a Trek-based fan film. Success depends on gathering the necessary resources locally, including people! Finding volunteers to act on-camera is easy enough--it's harder finding those willing to devote time and energy behind the scenes!

Star Trek Online: PvP Bridge Massacre
Video proof that you should never accept an invitation to visit the bridge of a total stranger.
This Fleet (i.e. supergroup, guild, etc) begins by using the higher-level ability of Self Destruct to grief lower-level players above Earth. Then they extend friendly invites to Klingon players to visit the bridge of one ship, after having gathered all their fleet captains to blast them to oblivion as soon as they appear. They add insult to injury by making it into this music video.

- STO is about as close as any of us will ever get, so yeah it's awesome. It's just getting started and there are lots of elements that could use improvement, but they've got nowhere to go but up. :-)

Yeah.. I ended up going to the reporting centre after the event while still dressed up, the officers gave me the ol hassle of "you don't look like the picture on your license" and had me stand next to the car for the picture haha.
