- I'm new to the trek world but love it as much as any Trekkie (yes I said TREKKIE!!) That pic was taken in Vulcan at Galaxyfest. I love Star Trek and all that it stands for. My favorite race is the logical Vulcan. The only reason I'm not in a club is because there are none around here.

The movie was AMAZING!!!
I saw the movie and it was truly excellent! I thought it was the best yet. The actors nailed the roles perfectly. It wasn't in a copycat manor either. it was funny, exciting, sad, had every element of a great movie. Old trekkies/trekkers you have nothing to fear.

update on the campaign to get the trek movie premier in Vulcan
So it appears that Nimoy himself is a strong advocate of having the premier in Vulcan Alberta. I couldn't imagine a better place. http://airlockalpha.com/news426181.html here's the details! WOOOO VULCAN!!!! THANK YOU MR. SPOCK!!!!
