- Pastor's wife & stay-at-home mom for now. Three kids at home plus a step-daughter. Grew up in a Trekkie home & so know way more about Star Trek by association than I ever imagined. Won a costume contest as a Vulcan named T'Rek. Into performing (acting, dancing) & choreography. Love Halloween & coming up with new characters each year. I also love doing high quality kids b-day parties. It may soon take off into a business, but have had fun playing to create great parties for my own kids.
I also have a love for fashion, but have always been drawn to the 60's mod era of space age & Twiggy-esque.
My motto is, "If you're gonna go, go all out." This is how many of my characters have come about. RESEARCH!

Space Needle Wants to Send Someone to Orbit
After my last blog post about the final space shuttle launch, the concern has been out there as to when someone (from America) would be sent back out to space with out having to travel to Russia to do it. The talk was to work on projects to get out to deeper space, beginning with the moon again & possibly Mars, and beyond. Until then, this news has come out:

Bittersweet Shuttle Launch
Friday, July 8, 2011, marked something important in [American] history. After 30 years, the NASA space shuttle program launched it's last shuttle mission with the Atlantis. Only with a slight hiccup at T-minus 31 seconds, it lifted off majestically & beautifully.
I remember (vaguely) being awakened early in the morning to watch the very first of the shuttle program take off, back in 1981. I remembered I was in 1st grade. This NASA program has been a part of so many lives...and…

Meet T'Rek
There was a Vulcan named Varek. Varek experienced Pon Farr with his mate T’Vel. Together, they bore a son, Votek. At age seven, Votek was mind-melded with his future mate, T’Zai.
Next, came another son, Tyvek, seven Earth years after Votek. Tyvek was mind-melded with his future mate, T’Prai seven years later.
