No
About Me:
I grew up practically worshipping Spock. I see the Enterprise (NCC 1701-A) as the best looking ship ever seen on screen. I see the Defiant as the most impressive ship ever seen on screen. The Intrepid Class Voyyager looked like a spoon and the Galaxy class Enterprise (NCC 1701-D) was just ungainly and looked WAY too top heavy. Feel free to try to convince me to change my opinions. I actually enjoy well reasoned debate.

I haven't. I've heard about them, but it never occured to me to look into them and see what they're all about. Thank you for the suggestion. From the quick search I did, it seems that cybernetics and psytech are right up my alley.

I see what you mean; people can be pretty puzzling. I think that's why I like learning about them and observing them so much.

I like sci-fi tech as well. Sometimes I wish I was more interested in it, but every time I try to find my own "passion" for it, it doesn't really work out. Listening to people talk about sci-fi tech. and other technology, however, is something I love to do. Reading the comments on Jalopnik, a website about cars and car related news, is one of my favorite pastimes. I suppose that falls into the liking-to-learn-about-people category, though.

I don't think I've ever looked at the ships closely, but you're right, the original ship is the nicest.

I look forward to viewing designs of your own devising should you choose to upload them. Your favorites definitely incorporate the best of all possible worlds. As for my having any design theories to share, normally I would answer only that the extent of my theories would be to suggest abstract art for aesthetic interior design. However, by a very strange coincidence, today of all days it happened that I was doing some research on the engine rooms of ships regarding a combination of safety and the latest technological advancements. I apologize for being unable to share further details. In any case, dabbling in this type of research has proved most fascinating.

I'm with you on the Enterprise, Thomas Stinson.  ... Figuratively speaking, of course.  Should I welcome you here or wish you clear skies for all the journeys open to you with your many impressive ship designs?  Either way, live long and prosper.
