ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

Football Season kicks off with the Saints winning. Ok I can't let that get me down. Oh, How I would LOVE to see them not even make the playoffs. But I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Those guys ruined my entire Sunday many months ago. I would love to see a rematch of the Super Bowl. GO COLTS AND BROWNS. (Unless they play each other, Then GO COLTS!)…

Did the fanbase take Trek for granted?

I was on break from my job about an hour ago. I was waching Star Trek from my FI-Pod. (Fake I-Pod) And I was watching the battle scene from Yesterday's Enterprise. I started thinking about how great Trek was. How intellectual and how brilliantly written some of the stories were. I started thinking about how popular Trek was when I was growing up in the early 90's. How you could walk in to any kids isle in any retail store and there would be an entire section of Trek toys to look at. Action… Continue

Why? Why Complain?

Why are a good percentage of Trek Fans NOT behind Abrams? Don't get me wrong. I had MY issues with the movie. However several months ago I started a discussion via Facebook with a Trek fan. Who just put the movie down. Put Abrams down. And was willing to attack anyone who disagreed with him regarding his opinion on the Reboot. (Some refuse to call it even that!) I asked him to look at the overall picture. That this reboot is giving a breath of life into a franchise that was steadily in a… Continue

Hi, jim, I'm still out here kicking, submitting a few comments here and there, making a nuisance of myself at numerous conservative political sites and rallies, and raising hell whenever possible. The political scene is heating up and we have to keep a close watch on these people we sent to Washington. And a few I already regret helping get elected. But I've also been keeping a close watch on Trekspace  to see if anything's happening around various groups I've joined. Been quiet, though. I guess we're all waiting for Paramount to announce they finished the script and reveal who the new villains will be in Star Trek 12. But once they do all hell will probably break loose. Maybe it's time to start a Star Trek 12 group and allow everyone who hated Star Trek 11 to vent their rage. Let them get it out of their system because with the cancellation of Stargate:Universe there will be very little new science fiction on TV this coming fall. Star Trek 12 may be the only game in town in Hollywood so they may have to count their blessings that Star Trek 11 was such a huge hit. Live and learn I always say.
