Mara Wildman * T'Sai said… - I did have a chance to go to the Vegas con, but didn't go. Alec Peters actually asked me to help him work his table. There were many reasons involved, but I'm actually glad I didn't go. Not overjoyed, and I'm sure I would have been glad I'd gone, but I'm satisfied with my decision to stay home. I'm not planning on going this year either. I'm getting married in May. My husband will be gone a lot during June and July doing CAP (Civil Air Patrol) stuff and August will be our summer together. Then we'll be back in school in September. I have no current plans for ever traveling too far for a con, but we'll see what happens in the future.
All I did to become MOTM was fill out the form at Roddenberry.com. I'd completely forgotten about it when a friend told me they saw it. Sadly, I didn't make MOTY, though. :o( Oh well, maybe next time. :o)
