The next episode from the fan series Star Trek Phase II, of "Blood and Fire, Part 1" should hit the net by the end of October, and to give you a taste, the Phase II team just released the action-packed opening teaser (including the new opening… Continue
Okay so a couple of members have been positing anti/pro-politics blogs lately, so I thought I'd just get my views out there along side them just for the sake of offering up another set of opinions. And for the record, I support such discussion, even though I pay little heed to current events for the sake of my sanity, I realise its importance anywhere, and therefor see no reason to oppose it here on TrekSpace.
1. Gay Marriage - 'Gays' shouldn't be permitted to marry, and neither… Continue
As of here lately I've seen a lot of political non-trek things show up on this site. I'm not going to say no one should voice their opinions about polotics here, but when I come here I want to try to bring people together, like the orignal premis of Star Trek, not bring them apart.
Now there will be a lot, and I mean a lot of people who will dis like what I'm saying. To that I say, I don't care. The whole Trek community has been something that means a lot to me, and to see it here… Continue
Reason #23 to attend Mountain-Con:
Penny Johnson Jerald
Mountain-Con is excited to announce two brand-new guests to our convention... Penny Johnson Jerald and her talented husband Gralin Jerald.
PENNY JOHNSON JERALD’s biography describes her as a “nasty piece of work, Penny’s from heaven, hell on wheels, powerful, and just plain talented.” She played the scheming, conniving, JR of television character, Sherry Palmer, on the Fox television… Continue

Today in class I made a rather pointed statement to an Airman Basic who was shooting his mouth off, as he does when he is around certain members of the class (one of those extremely impressionable sort who just can't help himself at times). My good friend who is an Airman--that's an E2 for those who understand military lingo--who happened to be sitting between us drew back in his seat and said, "That was a Janeway moment." Figuring I had somehow quoted Voyager without realizing it while… Continue

So I was watching Buzzcocks just then and was struck by how attractive Lily Allen was during it... she had this nerdy thing going on, I dunno, but I'd never really cared for her all that much. Made me want to analyze all the different women that I find attractive, such as Nicole Kidman, Kate Beckinsale, Amy Adams, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rhona Mitra & Ellen Page among others... but then I though that would be lame. Alas, I came on here and wrote about it. Any better? Probably not. Of… Continue

Hello everyone. I don't know if anyone's been following this, but the Fan made film Star Trek: Of Gods and Men has been schedualled to be released on DVD. The announcement was just made on August 27th 2008. Of Gods and Men is a fan made production directed by Tim Russ. It stars a very wide range of veteran Star Trek actors such as Nichelle Nichols, Walter Koenig, Alan Ruck, Garret Wang and J.G. Hertzler. It also has a VERY good story to it and I would recomend it to any Star Trek fan.

In a perfect world, I'd have more money than the Pope, more girlfriends than Hef, and only leave my mansion a few times a year to attend science fiction conventions, and I'd be a best selling science fiction writer. Since the world is far from perfect, however, the fact is that non-fiction pays better than SF, even though I don't enjoy writing it as much. An article I wrote is in the latest issue of Quest, the magazine of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The e-version of this issue has just… Continue

I have a large collection of really bad movies. Most of my movies are grindhouse type movies, but i have a fair share of b-movies and various other low grade little known films.
Now there is a lot of people who think that Grindhouse was just a movie that Quintin Tarintino and Robert Rodrigez made, no that was film made as a omage to those type of films. Grindhouse films were the predassor to modern b-movies and porno films.
Now I know a lot of people will be turned off,… Continue
“Good morning Trell, ready for breakfast?” Said a familiar voice.
“Yes, ma’am. I’ll be there in a few minutes, where is it at?”
“Captain’s Mess hall.”
“Aye, see you soon.”
The chirp confirmed the intercom system turned off, I got up and looked at myself in the mirror. Bits and pieces of the dream were still clinging to my conscienceness; I shook them off and washed up. I changed clothes and walked out of the room. I noticed… Continue

Everyone turned around and stood at attention, the one I presumed to be the Executive Officer got up for the Captain’s chair and started to clap, Chief Larson and the rest of the bridge joined in. I raised my hands and motioned them to stop.
“Hold up everyone. I’m not that important.” I said, a bit embarrassed.
“Like hell, you aren’t.” A familiar voice said behind me.
I turned around and recognized the same red headed pony tail… Continue

I heard the familiar beep and got up to stretch my legs. I can’t believe it took me 2 hours to record this personal log. I walked around my apartment and looked out the window. I was able to get a nice place overlooking the bay. The Symbiosis Commission was kind enough to allow me to teach in the initiate program. The incoming mail section on my PADD beeped. I picked up the PADD and looked at it. The message read that I needed to report to the… Continue
