Today being the lazy day of lazy days, I indulged in watching the only two TV programs I’m interested at the moment; Babylon 5 and Star Trek TNG. So far I’ve been switching back and forth between the series’, watching a disc of each at a time. Today I watched Bab5’s second season episode “Acts of Sacrifice” (a rather light, but nonetheless challenging episode) which I loved and then eagerly switched over to TNG for an episode I have been looking forward to for some time.

Just got home from FREEKON and I can tell you, it was a blast.
The day started off with Fleet Admairl Andy Sams running a blooper real of things he put together. After that we had local boy and guest David Riddick (cartoonist check http://www.roddenberry.com for some of his work) and fallowing that we had the yearly Starfleet Command meeting complete with awards. Starbase 06 fallowed with its yearly meeting. The rest of the day was spent on prop panels and assorted fun! The end of the night was…

ok everyone rember me seeing an aliean ship?
well
me and my b/f were in his truck having a cig and it was cloudy so there were no stars, guess what? we both saw a bright star like i explained before. it was smaller and it was flickering. it was moving a little and was moastly sitting there. at one point we saw 2, but that one went on 'warp drive' soner. we were looking at it for about 30 minutes untill it went on 'warp drive' also.
this cant be a quincidence!

Aw, geez, what can I say?
This is what I was looking for in the 2nd trailer, and didn't get.
Somehow I think that JJ was looking over the ratings from STOS fans and found that they didn't give a high enough approval of it. He then whipped out his pagic pen, and got someone to re-edit and add in the Spock bit at the end.
"There," he said to himself, "Now I've pleased everyone."
Hmmmm...not so fast, JJ.

Sometimes I think that I'm out of my noggin.
Today out of the blue, a coworker who is also an avid Star Trek fan gave me the Vulcan Salute.
He chortled, "I know she can do it - and she does it well! Look!" (As I casually returned the gesture, including the "Pacman"-like scissor-action to illustrate the ease that I've gained in practicing it hard for a long, long time.)
My friend grinned and laughed loudly.
