Star Trek: The Experience Crew Member Needs Your Help!

I just wanted to share the news that Richard Oden aka "Rog'l" from the former Star Trek: The Experience needs some help from his friends, fans, anyone who is willing to give a small donation.  Please take a couple minutes to read his story and consider making a donation.  As Rog'l, Richard brought joy into the lives of so many people; if everyone could just make a small donation we could raise the money he needs for his care.  It was because of wonderful people like Richard that STTE was the…

Audio Verse - Part II

I'm honored to be among my ST: Outpost cast mates as a finalist for the "Best Actor in a Fan/Adaptation Ensemble Role" for the 2014 Audio Verse Awards. If you get a chance, go check out some of the shows that are up for awards this year.  There's a whole lot of great audio drama being made out there!…

The Star Trek Wars

I'm on the Facebook and I follow a certain group on there called Starfleet Academy. If you are unfamiliar with this group they write about topics and events, in a news format, that happen in our universe and place it in the Star Trek Universe. A basic example would be Pearl Harbor would be a Starbase destroyed. It isn't the grand exploration of the starship Enterprise or the ambassador of the week stories the television show but more of a other things happen besides what happens on the show.…

Star Trek Novels

It has been a long time since I have been to this site. I apologize. I intend to keep up with all goings on here as much as time allows. On to my blog:

I have been collecting Star Trek Novels for about 7 years now. And I have quite a collection.I have seen some videos on Youtube where people share their collection of about 20-30 books. I read some of the comments that say that is a HUGE collection. I then look over at my collection. And say to myself, "If thirty books is a…

Audio Verse Awards nomination!

Nothing like waking up in a dark cloud to find some neat news waiting in my inbox. Some kind soul nominated me for Best Actor in a Fan/Adaptation Ensemble Role for Star Trek: Outpost. Seeing as how I'm up against five other righteous dudes in our cast, it's certainly an honor to have been nominated.

Please forgive the commercial, but a guy asked to make a living!

Greetings, shipmates! I know I'm not around here as much as I'd like to be, but one of the reasons is that I'm devoting more and more of my time to my writing. This is my latest effort. It's only in the last year that I've taken a shot at writing poetry. I've never really been all that big a fan of this particular type of writing as a reader, but as a writer, I have to admit that it's challenging to try to get across an idea with only the bare minimum of words.

I hope that you'll give…

FINALLY! Someone Inside the Industry Has The Guts To Speak About JJ Abrams' Star Trek Universe

As Star Trek enthusiasts, we all have our respective opinions on the franchise, the state of it, the persuasive and enduring power of the TV series and films, and so on and so forth.  Like so many, I've not been all that 'kind' to the JJ Abrams version of our beloved universe.  Oh, as I've said over and over, I…

Hi everyone!

I don't know who's going to read this, but thanks for letting me join your group. I have no idea how big this place is, but it seemed like a good place to make some Star Trek friends since I don't have very many in real life. I am 24 years old and I live in central Canada, I've been into Star Trek for about a year now.

I would have started watching it a lot sooner if I had listened to my fiance when we first started dating four years ago. He said it…

Lost among stories...

Yep, I've been officially 'kidnapped' by Captain Rex and Commander Cody of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (3D version). Well, them and Star Trek. Crossing the two universes is NOT easy but it IS fun. =^-^=

Then you add in Digimon, Pokemon, Predator, CSI Miami and New York, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Mortal Kombat...hum, I might have forgotten a 'realm' or two...but you get the point. :P

All fun! Even if it is going to give Obi-Wan Kenobi and Kathryn Janeway…

Who was brought up by his mom, who killed his dad

He is Choked`Hue the son of a Borg drone

But that don't make him bad.

then one day when the Klingon met this Borg chick

and she batted her big 7 of 9  eyes

That's when Choked`Hue just lost his Gawd damn mind

What I've Been Up To

Hey shipmates,

Yeah, I haven't been around much lately, sorry about that. There's been a lot of personal nonsense going on that I won't go into; I come to Trekspace to take a break from sh** like that. Once the dust settles (I hope), I'll be here so much that you'll get sick of me!

On a cheerier note, I've also been busy writing the 3rd entry in my Paul Murdock thriller series, and it is now available on Kindle! This is the first time I ever wrote a novella, rather than a…

Gilligan's Trek By Casey Menace

Just sit right back

And you'll hear a tale,

A tale of a fateful Trek,

The story of the Enterprise,

A star ship on a trek.

The First Officer was a Vulcan man,

The captain, a ham to go.

The Enterprise set sail that day,

For a three season show,

A three season show.

The budget started getting rough,

The trekking show was tossed.

If not for the letters of the fearless fans

The show would have been lost.

The show would have…

March 31: On This Day in Science Fiction History

I can still remember seeing The Matrix in theatres.  Although it premiered on this day back in 1999, I know that I didn't rush out to the movies to see it right away.  After all, it starred Keanu Reeves, so I figured it was probably going to end up being as tepid as Johnny Mnemonic was.  In fact, I remember reading one…See More
