Armband in remembrance of the Colorado victims
Lets start something. Anyone going to see Dark Knight Rises, wear a black armband in remembrance of the victims and families in Colorado.

This is a comment I received in the Live Journal DragonCon group about my armband suggestion: As someone who has been personal affected by the the shooting, I appreciate the gesture. Me and some of my friends have been coming to Dragon since 2009, and we knew a number of the victims. Thank God none of them were killed. It is nice to know that the fandom is out there showing support and compassion.

Exactly. And like I told my friends, it didnt seem right just to go see it as if nothing had happened, but it didnt feel right to change my plans to go see it and seemingly let evil win. When Batman said "no guns" I started to get choked up, I cant lie.

Excellent idea. Let's not let one nut with a gun spoil what is probably the greatest genre movie of the year, if not of all time.
