She steps out of the shuttle and walks around the it. The slight scratches are hardly noticable. Should be a fast and quick fix up. Taking out the tricorder she takes some readings.

Looking around 3 tunnels are seen walking over to each one she takes readings and then finds what she thinks is the most likely one. Looking back she motions some of the crew to check it.
Walks over to the tunnel "I'll check it out" he says as he walks into the tunnel

He moves his tricorder taking readings as he goes

As he exits the tunnel he stops dead in his tracks as he looks around

"By the Elements" he says out loud as he looks at a large city almost completely intact

"Leih! Commander!" he yells as he takes readings

Anarra comes running, her mouth drops as she takes in the sight.

"Oh my....Everyone over here, and start taking every kind of sensor reading known."

She starts taking scans herself amazed by what she was seeing.
As he checks his readings the center off the city is 50,000 years old, the earliest buildings are 8,000 years, nothing after 50,000 nothing before 8,000

He looks up at the roof of the cave its rock, looking g toward the Commander "its almost as if they built it down here" he says

he picks up a water source and heads toward it, when his light goes out "fvadt" he says as he takes one more step

Theirs a loud splash "fvadt it Areinnye" he yells as he comes up from under the water "great I lost my light and tricorder" he says

"careful of the drop off" he says as someone shines a light on him

"Waters good a bit heavy on the sulfur but good, and could" he says as he looks around for a way out of the pool he dosen't relize he cut his forehead yet

She silently follows the group. She listens to the report with mild interest, then hears Ejiul going for an unexpected swim. She hurries over to the water, shining her light in front of her. She crouches down, holding her hand out to pull him back out. "Are you ok, Ejiul?"
Seeing Zan's hand he takes hold of it as she helps him out of the water

"hann'yyo Zan yes I'm fine" he says then he feels something get in his eye

whipping his head he see the blood "I'm bleeding but OK" he says then starts laughing

"I could have pulled au in the water" he laughs "and spent the next month in the brig" he says

"anyone got a bandage I lost all my stuff in the pool" he says as he takes hold of Zan's light and points it to the city

"Think they got a hospital down their" he says laughing "Now remember that is what Au do not want to do" he says as he sits with on eye shut to keep the blood out
"It could be entirily possible that they did. Many cultures build their cities underground, both for protection from their enimies and the weather. This could very well be a hiding place. I'd bet holodeck time on the fact that the writings on the cavern wall are related to this city. Everyone spread out and keep taking readings. And try to stay away from the water...that is until we know it's safe."

She continues to take readings herself, moving around the perimiter.
"Commander, can you come heal Ejiul's cut? I'm not a doctor... Someone must have a med kit."

She smiles at Ejiul. "Well, you at least got a swim."
"its OK is just about stopped" he replies as he reaches in the water and pulls out his light

he shines his light to the city "well my tricord is gone, and I did have a nice swim" he says he feels his belt and breaths a sigh of relief "My Phaser and Blades are still their" he says

he wipes his face to clean away the blood so he can open both eyes and heads for the city "someone got come with me to take scans" he says

As he walks he shines his light around, he arrives at the city wall "before I lost my tricord these walls were 8,000 years old the center of the city was 50,000 years old" he says as he goes to enters the city


He pushes on Iron doors but they will not open, as he looks at the Doors "it will take days with hand phasers to cut throw this" he says

He backs up and looks at the walls that tower 40ft "we can't climb them and the shuttle wont fit through the tunnel to here" he says

he turns back toward the way he came "lets go tell the Commander we'll Wait for the Leih we don't want to damage anything with out her OK" he says

He heads back toward the Commander to report vah they found
Anarra listens to the report and then gets out her med kit. "Well we arnt doing anything till I heal you up." she heals his cuts easily and gives him a quick scan to check for contamination in the water that might have gotten into his wound.

"I dont want to ruin those doors or anything else in that sight. Tell me Erien...Whats our next step. What does protocol say we should do in this situation? How do you explore, catalog and excavate a city with out destroying it?" She asks quizzing him.
Listens to the Commander "their are several ways, I have never done this type of mission" he says

"we could tunnel under the walls, bring down latter's and climb over" he says

"easiest way would be run some leeways from the shuttle use its Transporter and beam us into the city, have the AT equipped with ETB (Emergency transport beacons) those will give us add boost to get back out" he says

"if this city was above ground we just fly in but the shuttle will never fit thought the opening" he says

"at any rate were looking a few days, beam down the supplies, shuttle them down set it all up" he says

"the other tunnels may lead to entrances that aren't blocked" he says
nodds. "Very good. I'm inclined to go the easy route. but Id still like someone on this side of the gate looking at ways to open it safetly. I think we'd all feel better if we knew there was one sure fire way out of the city in case our technology should fail us."

she looks around. "any one have any other suggestions?"
Looking at Ejiul, "au, forgot we have supplies and a few extra things. I'm sure if you check in the crates on the shuttle you'll find an extra light, and tricorder."

"We need to be more careful there are bond to be traps and things to be avoided. It will be so interesting once we enter this city. Before touching the gates we should wait for the Leih."
