This Halloween and for which-ever Comic Con that comes up first in my city I want to try something new. I've only done Vulcans each time I did a Star Trek related costume.
I definitely don't want to go to anything as a plain ol' Terran.

This year, I definitely want to do a MirrorUniverse costume (at least for Comic Con). I haven't decided between a TOS or ENT costume yet. If I do TOS I'll do everything Uhura style... if I use ENT, I think I'll be either Bajoran (or Trill if I can see the little spots enough on my skin). I think I may be leaning toward the ENT design. I wish I could manage out some good Denobulan prosthetics, that would be really swell!

For Halloween, I think I may be shooting for Romulan though. Boy do I love the Romulans! If I do romulan, I'll see if I can find someone to make me the dress that tres-fab female commander wore int TOS. I would make sure I had the eyebrow ridges though- I don't want to be mistaken for a Vulcan haha.

For Halloween I could even do something 'star trek parody' related and see if I could find someone to make me a Thermian costume from the Galaxy Quest movie. That'd be pretty sweet too!

I dunno.. Any suggestions, my dear reader?

Hi Ninqi,

It takes a good two hours to suit up as a Borg, but well worth it.  Then, the important thing is to act the part ...

Well, you'll have to keep me posted on what you finally decide, okay?

At Capt Thomson:
It would get sooo hot in a Satan's Robot costume! I love the Romulan outfit you have, your pictures make me want to do romulan even more ^_^

At T'Sinde:
Oh my, Borg (especially Borg Queen) costumes look sooooo hard to do. But whenever someone does them they always turn out amazing. The kids where i live get freaked out incredibly easily haha, they would have a heart attack if someone had on a Borg Queen costume

Besides Vulcan, in the past I've gone as a Borg and Q.  The funniest Halloween ever was when I was supposed to house sit for a neighbor and pass out candy from her house before going to a party.  So I handed out candy to some kids while all decked out in my Borg gear, looked at the time, went back across to my own house ... when shortly after the doorbell rang, so I answered it and passed out candy ... to some really freaked-out kids who had just seen me across the street!  Awesomely scary fun.  :-)

While I try to do the noble thing and go Vulcan, people can't even handle that so sometimes I end up thinking okay, they don't appreciate me as a logical respectable Vulcan, I'll go the easy route as Q   ... That way, I can have fun and be my mischievous self.   :-)

I think I'll go Romulan this year. I wanted to go as Satans Robot from Voyager. I have been getting the stuff together but I have so many other projects going its not going to make it I'm afraid. But I did just get this cool Romulan out fit. I just need a wig & ears.

"The shuttlecraft lands at pad 2, and as promised there was a commuter waiting. Once Spock  is loaded onboard the Commuter, it takes off from Landing Pad 2 and 2 minutes later the Commuter arrives where the Silver Eagle is docked."
