First Officers Log, Stardate 241002.12, Commander Vokar reporting

Well, I arrived back onboard the Vindicator to find my quarters in a mess and then was alerted to the fact that I had to attend the awards ceremony, I had to replicate a new dress uniform, as my current one had quite a few stains and scuffs on it from the battle.
All in all, the ceremony went well until I was called to the fore, it was... unexpected to say the least but I knew it would happen eventually, Commander.... it seems so far from when I joined the Vindicator, but I guess this is what one gets for years of dedicated service.
Hopefully I will be spending the day with Akida, I have missed her dearly over the course of the last mission, but I can always feel her there, our connection is stronger now i'm back onboard the same ship, I can always find solace in the fact that she will always be there and always be a part of me.
