Intelligence Officers Personal Log, Stardate 241209.18, Captain Vokar reporting

It has been over to years since I last made an entry, I have found myself busier than ever, while I cannot tell you everything about the past two years I can say this, it has been interesting and my eyes have been opened.

After Ajilon, I was put in full command of the Vindicator, we followed an ion trail we found at the planet and tracked it as far as we could when we were ambushed by the Vanguard under the command of Osric Tia, the wanted mass murderer.

The Vindicator was outgunned and its crew would have been slaugtered if it were not for the intervention of Artur Tarasov, who's ships fought off the rival Vanguard faction and saved me from the bridge of my wrecked ship.

I couldn't return to the Federation straight away, I was a "guest" of Mr Tarasov's for several months, travelling with him onboard his ship, making small moves towards Starbase Versailles, during one such move, he had me put off the ship on a starbase and arranged for me to travel to Versailles with a friend, which turned out to be the brother of one of my former crew.

When I revealed myself, I was arrested by Starfleet Intelligence and kept from contacting any of the people I cared about, after spending some time in their care, I was released and put back onto the Vindicator as an Intelligence Operative, with my former rank intact, while some may see this as good fortune, I know it is because Starfleet Intelligence want to keep an eye on me.

I must go, I have work that needs doing, no doubt I will have some free time later, maybe I will work on my weapons project again.
