The episode What Are Little Girls Made Of? aired on October 20, 1966.
Things I liked:
The look Christine gives Andrea when she comes in.
The makeup they used for Ruk.
The code Kirk made for the android, and the discussion Jim and Spock have about it at the end.
Things I thought were interesting and why:
Andrea shows fear for being an android when the real Kirk orders her to kiss him.
Ruk uses the term “forgotten” when he says he didn’t recall right away the programing of the ‘Old Ones’. How can an android forget?
Things I thought were funny:
The design of the machine for making an android.
Things I observed:
Oh look! Finally some red shirts!
Things I didn't like and why:
The skin on Rodger’s hand looks so fake when its torn away. I know they only had so many materials to work with back then, but that should have looked and probably COULD have looked a bit more real than it did.

Glitchie I totally agree with you, it looked like a giant dildo. Ah Shatner must have worked hard to keep a straight face while holding that. I should ask him at a convention....

I've seen that episode at least 20 times and NEVER made that association. Don't know what that says about any of us. I also liked Ruk's makeup, but what about the makeup on the rocks? That was great too!

Same here; that's why I thought it was so funny...I'm pretty sure that was intentional (maybe thrown in for any adults in the audience?) I just can't see that being an accident...

Personally, I thought the funniest scene in this episode was when Kirk pulls a large 'stalactite' down from the roof of the cave to defend himself with against the big guy.
